Why Does My Toshiba Dvr670 Not Turn On?
My Toshiba DVR670 has always been plugged into a surge protector along with my TV and other electronics. One night the power went out and ever since then the DVR670 hasn't worked. All the other things including TV still work. Only the power led, the display, and the VCR DVD leds blink off and on.

Surge protectors' protection doesn't last forever. Some recommend replacing it every 2 years. See https://www.howtogeek.com/212375/why-and-when-you-need-to-replace-your-surge-protector. If the damage has occcurred, you;ll need to replace affected components.
