Reboot My Laptop, And Not Loose Contents

first blue screen of death, then hard disc 5 corupt, then when starting it back up it says load start up disc and the go from there, i don't want to loose my contents

Take it to a local PC tech.

The startup disk will erase the hard disk and set it back like it was when it came out of the box.  In some RARE cases it will state that your data will be saved but to be safe have a tech handle it.  Just find a tech in the yellow pages, they don't charge much and you'll be thankful you did it.

when turn 9on computer press F8 key to bring up advanced start screen try selecting the one that says last known good configuration
