I Need To Know Why My 296 Minutes Were Not Transferred To My New Tracfone?

I activated a new tracfone and kept my phone number and was told that I would recieve my 296 minutes that were on my other tracfone, the new phone is activated and i've even got my same phone number, but i did not recieve my 296 minutes that were on my phone and i was told that my minutes were going to be restored.
