My Phone Has Died.can I Move My Remaining Minutes To A New Tracfone?

Phone is only 4.5 months old. Battery showed a full charge. I made a call and phone worked well.  Picked up the phone a few minutes later and the phone was dead.  I've tried to recharge and I've removed and put the battery back in.  The phone is completely dead.  I have quite a few minutes remaining and would like to know if I bought a new Trac Phone, is there any way I can transfer my minutes and phone number to the new phone.  thank you.
