Is your battery getting old? If so it may not hold a full charge. Replacing the battery should fix the problem.

The could be a number of possible reasons. If the battery got wet by any chance at all, it weakened the battery. If you have dropped the phone, it may have disloged the battery enough to lesson the charge, but still be able to keep the phone running. When you charge it, do you leave it on the charger until the phone says battery full? If not, you're not letting it charge long enough. Also, depending on how old the phone is, the battery could be going bad, as they tend to weaken with age. Pop the back off and make sure the battery is in the right way, then let it on the charger untill it is completely done, There could also be a break in the charger cord that isn't letting it charge completely. If it's an older phone, I'd check in about getting a replacement battery for it.
