We Got Twitter Account Back From A Hacker But Not The 'verify'

In October the twitter account of Scorpio from the hip hop group Grandmaster Flash was hacked, you guys corrected the account but failed to re-instate the "verify" sign. It is important because it shows authenticity. I know that we look for a "verify" sign when looking for other celebrities. Is it possible to get the sign back?

The hacker might have changed your username which would have caused you to lose your verification. In order to get it back you have to wait. Twitter doesn't accept requests to get your account verified. They will contact you.
