Cellular Signal Strength

We recently changed our US Cellular service to smart phones (Gallaxy S III).  We seldom had problems with our previous phones but now we are having constant problems getting sufficient strength from the cellular towers to stay connected in our home in Grafton, WI.  Is there anything that can be done to improve our signal reception in our home?  We keep loosing calls or are unable to connect.
