Refund Of $35.00 Carry On

Hello I was charged for my carry on piece of luggage at the ticket counter and at the gate all carry on's were taken free of charge to the other customers because your plane was so small from Pitts/Nwk Flight UA4114 ticket #01623465104354. I was told I could get a refund by writing customer service online
