How Do I Get A Refund For A Flight I Was Unable To Take Because Of An Emergency?

I lost my bank card the night before my flight and was unable to make my flight for 7:am the next day because i was unable to get any money. I had to go to the bank and get a temporary card. Travolocity booked my flight and i was told because of the way that they had booked my flight i could'nt do a stand by flight because the lay over flight that i was to take was on US Air. Long story short I could not make a fllight out unless i bought another ticket for 900.00.
