I suggest doing 2 things to confirm whether or not you booked a reservation:

1. Call United at 1-800-864-8331 and ask if they show a reservation under your name (or the traveler's name if you booked a trip for someone else). They will ask you for the dates and flight times you selected to see if there is a reservation matching the name. If United says you do have a reservation and a ticket has been issued, ask them for your confirmation and have them email the itinerary and receipt to your email.

2. If you entered a debit or credit card for the payment while you were on the website, check your debit or credit card account to see if a charge is pending. If you didn't enter a form of payment before the website shut down, then chances are you don't have a reservation.

Unless you get an email confirmation regarding your purchase then no.

If you want to double check just call the reservations department and give them your name and date of your trip.
