Get Disconnected Phone Off Account And Reactivate For Prepaid

I had 2 lines activated with contract on verizon wireless. How can i get 2nd line phone which is already disconnected off of my account and use the phone for new prepaid service? Is that possible? Yes i will still be sent bill from collection but i just want to get this 2nd phone off my account to re use for verizon prepaid service. I tried and tried calling verizon wireless for information and they just keep transfering my calls and ends up being disconnect from customer service both times. Hello i need help!!!!!!

You will have to payoff the past due balance. You can request to speak with someone in collections and set up payment arrangements to get that phone released.
