My Iphone 5 Has A Shattered Screen, Works Fine I Want An Early Upgrade To Buy 5s

My insurance will cover the cost to replace the current iPhone 5 (with possibly a refurbished phone) at the cost of the $150. deductible. That makes zero sense at this point as the next generation iPhone 5S is out and available under the Verizon plan pricing for $200. I need "Special Dispensation from the Queen" to get approval for what they're calling an "early upgrade" eventhough I've been with Verizon for 13 years with multiple family plans etc. and by the way was not able to purchase the iPhone 5 that I have now through the "New in 2" plan that I had previously participated in! I was told that was no longer available after waiting the full 2 years to replace my Android. It's a question of applying reciprocal loyalty and logic. I'm happy to turn in my iPhone 5 to the Verizon store or the Apple Store once they've transferred my contacts I have no use for it but Verizon could certainly get it repaired and put it back into circulation or donate it to a serviceman. And collect good customer service,(hopefully not a thing of the past)and good karma at the same time. Thank you for listening, whoever you are.
