Hello, there are two ways of blocking text and numbers. First, you can either call verizon customer service (*611) from your cell and tell them you want to do a courtesy block : provide them the number . block last for 30days and can be initiated again after 30 days. Second way is online via verizonwireless.com follow these steps :

Go to the My Verizon Overview page
Go to “My Plans & Services” and choose “Verizon Safeguards.”
Click on “Call & Message Blocking.”
Enter the offending Device Number, then click “Save.”
