If a phone gets wet and doesn't work, can you retrieve phone numbers and put on a new phone?

If your phone gets wet hurry take it apart and put on rice for a while overnight would be best. Or if you do not have rice try a hair dryer to dry it. It might not work right away but after a day or two it might come back to working. Otherwise service providers like Verizon have back up assistance. It would have saved all your contacts and numbers. You would then be able to download back up assistance on the new phone you are using and it puts all of your contacts and numbers onto the new phone you are using. Also, you can go to your online account if you have one and see if your contacts are saved on there. If your phone has a sim card, you would just need to take it out and put it in your new phone.
