Purchased Lg-vn271 Extravert

I can't download my phone contacts to ford sync system in my car with this phone...Went to the dealer and verizon store twice and this phone won't let you download to the car sync... Please help or the phone is going back...

I have the same problem with the LG-VN271 that I just bought with my 2010 Ford F-150's Sync. After reading several forums, it appears that the LG-VN271 is not compatible with Sync because of a bluetooth software issue. One customer was told by LG that they are aware of the issue and will offer a software update at some point in the future, but gave no time frame.

It does work but make sure the MEDIA settings in SYNC is not configured for Bluetooth, make it LINE IN or something else, too bad this device doesn't support text message and disconnects all the time, worthless.
