Viewsonic Vpad7 Model 13761 Health = Overheat

Battery was dead and blotted. I replaced to battery and unit started up, battery shows 41% and Health shows good. Plugged in charger for 1 hour then checked battery, still showed 41% but health now says overheat, it doesn't appear to be charging at all and the battery is cool, room temp. Unplug charger and health goes back to good. I'm thinking something has to be reset b/c I think the unit thinks the old bad battery is still there. Did a reset several times but no change. Battery is an exact replacement.

First you need to reset your vpad than one more thing you need to install the battery again and this time check for negative and positive terminal of the battery .

And sold them than check if it is working fine or not .

If not than contact viewsonic.
