In The Middle Of A Movie The Player Just Freezes Up
while in the middle of a movie the picture just freezes up and it stops playing

could be several things..
check the dvd ..it could have marks/finger prints on it..or just be a defective.
DVD player could need cleaned with a cleaning dvd.
Your player may need a software update.. theses are normally downloadable on the company websites.
