check engine ligth is on what should i do?

When the check engine light comes on it means the computer in your car has found something to be wrong. You can take it to a mechanic and have them run a diagnostic on it. Also you can take it to some auto parts stores and they can check it for free also. They will tell you what is causing the light to come on and if you take it to a mechanic they will give you an estimate on what the repairs will cost you.
