Unable To Access Data
How can I access/save the data on my WD3200ME-1 HD? It worked fine and now I get a prompt to format the HD and cannot access the data. The same happens regardless of the computer used.

Sounds like the drive has lost it's formatting or it's partition.
It's possible the only way to use the drive will be to reformat it and you'll lose your data for sure that way.
There are a number of tools you can try but you need to be fairly technical to use them. Bootable Linux CD's such as Parted Magic can restore disks. You can also damage the disk easily with these tools.
There are also disk recovery services but they are expensive.

These are programs you can buy, some are free, that can restore a dead drive and/or recover data from them.
