Wd3200 Lost Contact With Pc
After connecting my external drive to a USB hub I lost contact with my BU_drive altogether; what to do now?

Hi there.
You can try the basic troubleshooting steps:
1. Try a different USB cable and plug the external drive in a different USB port, if possible in one at the back of the computer.
2. In case the drive is still not recognized, try to connect it to a different computer. That way will be sure if the issue is with the drive itself, or with the current computer.
Another thing you can try is to update the USB controllers. Just unplug all external devices and after that:
1. Open the Device Manager
2. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
3. Right click and uninstall all devices under Universal Serial Bus controllers one by one and re-install them.
4. Restart the computer.
5. Plug the external drive and see if the problem is fixed.
