My Wd Harddrive Can No More Be Recognised & I Cannot Retrieve My Existing File O

Is this your primary or external drive is the first question, as if it your primary then you may be able to recover the drive by connecting it to another computer as an external drive. Check whether the drive spins up.. IE can you hear the motor spinning. Check whether the drive is recognised in the bios. If the controller card on the drive has failed you will have to decide if the cost of obtaining another card and having the information on that card transfered, to enable you to read your drive. It will be a lot more than the initial cost of the drive. If the drive has seized then I'm afraid you have been unlucky. Come back with another question if any of what I have said has helped.
