What Needs To Be Replaced To Regulate The Temperature On Both Elect Ovens?

Everything works on both ovens (electric) except the temperature. I can preset for 350 deg. and it gets there but continues to climb to 450 deg. If I lower the temp, it goes way below where I need it to be. I have already tried to calibrate it but no luck. I had an appliance guy replace one sensor but it did not help. He said the next step is to rebuild the control board. I don't know about the guarantee on that or if its even necessary. Is there another part needed to get the ovens back to working properly with the temps? Love the double oven even tho its 15yrs old - is it time to replace?
