Whirlpool Dryer Wed5300vw Runs Hot - Clothes Still Wet/damp

After purchasing product from Lowe's dryer runs hot but clothes do not get dry even after running unit for over 2 hours. I checked the lint filter and it is clean. Checked the hose from unit to wall and it is clean. I called Lowes and without the EXACT date of purchase, EXACT credit card used, EXACT Purchase Order #, they cannot help me or find me, a Customer, anywhere in their system, at the retail store or at Lowes' central location. I would be happy to get a technician as I cannot find my paperwork to see whether or not I purchased an extended warranty. My wife and I vow we did but Lowes cannot help us at all. I prefer not to pay a Tech $130 just to replace an economical part. Any suggestions? Thanks! James D Russo Cypress, TX

Sorry that you are having so much trouble with this store. The only thing I could suggest is the the vent discharge could be obstructed by a build up. Does the duct get pretty hot? does discharge the normal hot air out side?
