Is There A Way To Switch An Account Number To A Different Receiver?
Here's the thing: I had an XM subscritption for a while (my anual Xmas gift from dad) but I also bought a new GM car. I went the entire year using the trial subscription and forgot to get it switched over. My dad thinks that I have been listening to the subscription that he has been paying for. Is there a way to switch the radio ID from my old receiver to the built in on on my new car without him knowing?

The answer is both yes and no. You can cancel the old subscription, get the customer satisfaction (Cancellation) agent to transfer the credit from one account to the other. That way the money your dad paid for your subscription is is still there and will be used for renewal next Christmas. It will not be the full amount mind you. You wouldn't get the $77 whatever back for the last six months, but that will sonve your problem. Just make sure you know the phone number on the account and the id numbers and you will be fine. That's the easy part though. The hard part is getting through.
