My Account Has Been Compromised And Emails Are Being Generated .

How do I stop this except by changing my password? Can the account be disabled and terminated?

I don't know why you don't want to change your password, which you can do as follows. If you know your Yahoo ID, fill out this form to start the process to create a new password. If you don't know your Yahoo ID, Yahoo will mail it to you if you submit this form.

To close your account, follow the steps on the Account Termination page.
