How Can My Grandson 's Email Account Get Accessed

My daughter set up an account for my grandson and both he and she has forgotten his password. She has tried repeatly to remember the security questions and has not been able to remember the answers. She is able to access her email however since my grandson does not use his email we are wondering if it has been deactivated. I bought him a nook and we are unable to load any books on it with out his password. Could you please email my daughter @ [email protected] and give her the instructions on what she needs to do to correct this problem?
