Message Says I Need To Update My Browser To Get My Mail. Tried But Can't. ??

Says my c:/documents/content.......IE5...IE8....is not good for WIN32 applications. Don't know what this means. I have Windows XP. I can get to my Ymail classic but can only forward not send. Keeps saying errors on page. Please advise. K
