It's possible that it's Yahoo attempting to keep your account secure by requiring you to verify your password (which is currently being entered by the browser).
If you don't trust that it's not a phishing attempt (and it may be), open Yahoo manually and cut and paste the address into the To field.
Be careful because you might not actually be at Yahoo. Software can be written to fool you into thinking you are somewhere where you are not. When in doubt manually open the web page yourself.
