Have a Yahoo Mail account and use Mac Mail? By setting up Mac Mail to receive emails from your Yahoo account, you can store your emails offline for viewing anytime.

Automatically set up Yahoo Mail with Mac Mail

Mac Mail can usually configure your Yahoo Mail account settings with these steps:

Open Mac Mail.
Select Add Account | File.
- If this is the first time you've opened Mail, you'll be automatically prompted to add an account.
Enter your Full Name, email address, and password.

Your Yahoo Mail account should be automatically configured at this point. If not, you can manually configure it.

Finishing up

After Mac Mail is launched, select Mail | Preferences.
Click the Accounts tab.
Select your Yahoo Mail account.
In the "Port" field, enter the incoming port listed in the Yahoo Mail POP settings.
Click the red icon in the upper-left corner to confirm and save the changes.
