I Received An Email Supposedly From Dhlthat A Shipment Was Not Made To Me Becaus

I received an email as a CC from DHL saying my shipment was delayed due to an address descrepancy..Well I never ordered anything from anyone..so to who do I send this fradulent email for investigation? Here is the original email that it was sent to as the receiver [email protected] and the email is from Dory Kaczyski DHL Regional Manager. It has an attachment but I have not opened the attachment. Thank you this is not my shipment..and I want it investigated. Please contact me so I can forward the email to you.

You have received spam email that may contain a virus or trojan in the zip attachment. Investigation is pointless due to the sheer amount of messages of this nature. Perform the basics of a trace on the email yourself by looking at the message header (via Message Options in Outlook, or 'Info' if you have a right-click option depending on your mail client). Find the IP address, typically in the 'Received' field.

I just got one of these DHL messages today (which is what brought me to your post) and the originating IP address is 200.110.46.78. Checking this at What Is My IP (http://www.whatismyip.com), I can see that the ISP who owns/manages this IP address is Nextel Del Peru S.A. The header info supports this as I can see the mail server there listed as 'HELO 78.46.110.200.dyn.nextel.net.pe'. So, even though this may not be the source of the email, we know it was at least purposely routed through a South American server. This is unlikely to be something DHL would do!
