Please Advise Im Having Problems Using Youtube

until a few days ago i could post to a friend or a group on youtube via facebook this option has been romoved and now i can only post to my timeline ? using my IPad i cant play videos in safari or firefox yet if i post to facebook i can play them ? Please advise thanks S Anderson
