How To Change My Email Address

I've tried all the suggestions with no result: click on my ebay, go to My Account etc. I keep getting the sign in page = no help because it has my old no longer existing email---which I had used for y ID

To change your email address:

Go to My eBay.
Click the Account tab.
Click the Personal Information link.
Next to Registered email address, click the Edit link.
