Integrated Webcam For E525

I have an E525 notebook computer with an Integrated Webcam. I have downloaded the webcam programs off the internet, but when I click on it, it doesn't do anything. Also, the webcam doesn't show up at all under "devices" in "My Computer", and I don't know why. I'm not very good with computers, so an easy, step by step answer would be appreciated. Thank you so much!
