Error Message 42408

when I try to authorize my itunes account on a second computer it says unable to do that and says error -42408

Seems a lot of people are having the same problem. There are a few web pages I found which offer advice that seems to have solved the problem for some people. The solution that worked for me was to remove the SC Info folder (as recommended here - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389). Here are a few other links you may want to try if that doesn't work:

It *does* work. Make sure you

a) close iTunes.

b) delete your iTunes Prefs:
MAc: ~/Library/Preferences.com.apple.iTunes.plist,
Win: Delete C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes
Delete C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes

c) Delete the "SC folder" (

Win: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1776

d) Restart iTunes

You will have to re-authorize. Otherwise you did something wrong ..
