Sounds

I downloaded Itunes because I just purchased a "tape2cd" machine and software. While I was installing the program I was told I had to install Itunes also. So I did. Then a box came up with all kinds of items about listening and asked if I wanted Itunes to be the source of where I listen to everything on my computer. So I did something crazy and clicked all the boxes about my windows media player and now I have no sound whatsoever on my computer. I am so new to all of this computer stuff that I know I should have never clicked on them but I can't find the place where I clicked on them to unclick them. I hope you understand what I am trying to say. When you answer this I would need very very simple steps to get back there and fix this problem. I'm so sorry for all the inconvenience but I'm trying to learn. I really do want the tape2cd because I am a country gospel songwriter/singer and I have about 200 soundtracks that I want on cd not tape.  I certainly hope you can help me with this issue  Thanks  Naomi
