According to ooVoo. Deleting your ooVoo account is a self-serve function. To cancel your ooVoo account we recommend the following steps 1) Sign into the account you wish to delete 2) Go to File>My Account>Edit My ooVoo Card o In the Display Name field type: inactive o Add ".oovoo" to the end of your email address which will remove the real email address from our list. o Remove your photo by changing it to a photo of something else. 3) Go to File>Settings>Privacy Change your Privacy setting so No One can Search for you or find you 4) Go to File>Settings>Emails Uncheck the boxes under Notification 5) Uninstall ooVoo from your computer: (For XP) START/CONTROL PANEL/ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS/ scroll down and select ooVoo/ Then click REMOVE/ (For Vista or Windows 7) START/CONTROL PANEL/ PROGRAMS AND FEATURES/ select ooVoo / UNINSTALL/ (For Mac) Go to HD/APPLICATIONS/drag ooVoo to the trash. Also drag the ooVooInstaller on the desktop to the trash. Please note that it takes 4-6 weeks for all communications with ooVoo to stop. In the interim, please "unsubscribe" from any marketing materials you may receive from us.
