System Crashes When Plugged Into Windows 10 Dell
Dear Sabrent: I ordered a Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual Power Switches and LEDs (HB-UM43) from Amazon.com on 8/20/15. Unfortunately, whenever I plug the device into my new Dell XPS 13 laptop it crashes the system. I get a blue screen of death with a system error message and the cycle into an endless repeat of automatic reboots. When i boot my computer without the Sabrent USB Hub it works fine. What is the problem? I saw other Amazon.com reviews that mentioned driver errors - but I did not think a driver existed for this device. How can you fix it?-Jason

Hi. I would suggest you try the unit in another computer as it may be that it is just defect and should be returned. Otherwise, its system Requirements are thus: * Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8 * Mac OS X Please Note: 2.4Ghz wireless devices, such as wireless keyboard and mouse adapters, may not work in close proximity to USB 3.0 devices or hubs. Connecting to a USB 2.0 port is recommended. For a stable connection, the devices connected to the 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub must not exceed a combined current of 5 volts 900 mAh. External hard-drives should be connected to an external power source. This 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub will not charge an iPad (it will only sync).
