High performance!
I learned about SATA RAID controllers in an IT class and we studied some 3Ware products. They are well made and have high performance ratings in my opinion. My IT teacher, who had a TON of experience with different computer components, told us that 3Ware made some of the best products around and I recommend them because it is true!

great cards
the cards they offer are amazing. they have lasted me for a long time now and no problems and the customer service people are very friendly and open.

3Ware: Top Performance
I have used 3Ware cards for a long time now and they are by far the performance leader in SATA Raids and overall have a very good sense for their customers. Any problems I have had with card installation and possible software slowdown has been resolved by a well spoken and respectful tech support worker. Highly recommended to anyone looking at setting up a raid to back up their system.
