Impossible to remove, not helpful.
I didn't find ZoneAlarm to be particularly helpful. It isnt better than other firewall programs I've tried and I wasn't impressed with it's performance. Then, when I attempted to remove it, that turned out to be an impossible task. They've designed it so that it thinks if it is uninstalled, your computer will be unprotected. No matter what, even using another program as a firewall, it still won't recognize this and will refuse to uninstall. I've attempted using software designed for the sole purpose of uninstalling and deleting all traces of ZoneAlarm from my computer, but no no avail.It turns out there IS a possible way of ridding your computer of it, but it means having to go into areas of the computer's software and deleting and messing with things the average person, such as me, isn't comfortable going. Things can be permanantly deleted and mess up a computer forever if you're not careful. I do not and would not recommend this program.
