LOCK TAB To replace: 1. Maintenance Windshield Wipers Check the condition of cracking in the rubber, or areas that are getting hard. Disconnect the blade assembly from the wiper arm by pushing in while you find these signs, or they leave streaks and unwiped areas when used. Look for signs of the windshield wiper blades at least every six months. Raise the wiper arm off the windshield. 2. Hold it in the lock tab. Replace the blades if you push the blade assembly toward the base of the arm.
