Sonar Options Sonar Operation | Elite X series Noise Rejection Uses advanced signal processing to send sonar waves into the water. Ping speed adjustments can help reduce interference from other transducers. When using fishing modes, ping speed settings are optimized for the selected fishing conditions, so in most cases, adjustments are not necessary. Ping Speed Controls the rate the transducer uses to monitor the effects noise (boat pumps, water conditions, engine ignition systems, etc.) has on your display, and then filters out undesired signals. 18
