Brand new and won't start

Just purchssed a brand new MS291 and could not get it started. Thought I had flooded it, but after 24 hours and very tired arms/shoulders I gave up and get it checked by a dealer to find that there was no spark at the plug! Three days to get the part and I have it back, but guess what, I still cant start it.
