To install or replace the rechargeable battery in your phone, follow these steps: 1. Replace the battery cover. 14 Remove the Handset battery cover. 2. Plug the battery's cable into the Handset. Note: The plastic connectors will fit together only one without losing any phone numbers that may be stored in the telephone's memory. Installing the Battery Pack Note: The built-in Memory Backup feature allows up to 3 minutes after disconnecting the old Battery Pack to install a new one way. If you have difficulty, make sure the battery's connector is properly aligned. 3.
