Video-on-demand (vod)

My Dad is 89 years old and has a hard time using a remote control. Can I program Uverse, Video-On-Demand to play movies, programs, etc. at certain times and certain days for him? All Dad can do right now is watch a TV, which will be always on. Thanks, Ron PS I tried a Roku box, but Dad was not able to use the remote control.
