Since you can go online, go to the AT&T U-verse website, sign-in and go to Troubleshoot and Resolve.
- Or go directly to the page at The AT&T U-verse: Troubleshoot & Resolve (sign in will be required at some point anyway)
- Once there you can download the AT&T Troubleshoot and Resolve tool at the bottome of the page
- or select VOICE (in your case) from the list of My Services where a menu will pop out to the right and you can select the nature of the problem. Begin at the beginning because it will only allow one selection. If you have "no dial tone" that is the logical place to begin. If you have a dial tone but still can't call out or receive, pick one.
- After brief system check, a recommended resolution will be displayed along with other important information regarding your service issue.
If that doesn't work, call from another phone, cell phone, neighbor's house and have Technical Support run a diagnostic. 1-800-288-2020.
Oh yes, if you call AT&T U-verse, make sure to tell them how long this problem has persisted. You could be entitled to a credit .
