Assuming you mean how do record movies and then play them back using your AT&T U-verse receiver/DVD and your remote:
- Find the program or movie which you want to record
- Press INFO on your remote
- This will bring up the program description and in the left column you will see: WATCH RECORD EPISODE RECORD SERIES and OTHER SHOWTIMES (which you will need if the program has already started
- Make your selection by using the directional arrows (the circle) and press OK If you press RECORD EPISODE you will be given 2 options RECORD and DON'T RECORD, for example.
- Once you have made the record selection you will also have the option to save the movie until you need more space or to save it until you decide to delete it.
- If you choose another recording time, you will not be able to record anything else playing at that time. Just so you know.
- Once the program is recorded, you can watch it whenever you want.
- Just press the small black RECORDED TV button on the right side of the MENU button. If you want to watch something else on TV, simply EXIT to TV.
- Eventually you will have a menu selection in RECORDED TV from which to choose.
- Please note that you cannot record from certain channels.
