There are 3 ways to access your voicemail.
1. Landline - Is your service fully set up?
2. Wireless - by calling this way you might incur charges. U-verse Messaging combines AT&T wireless and U-verse voice so that you should be able to access message by any of the 3 options.
3. Online by going to http://www.helpowl.com/popups/%20https:/www.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute?customerType=U or http://att.com/uversecentral and logging on. From there you will select your Account Overview page. From that page select AT&T U-verse Voice and click on Check Voicemail. Make sure your speakers are on so that you can view and play your vmail messages by clicking on the speaker icon next to the message. (right-click to save and delete for those you don't need any longer)
I remember having a similar problem and a few years ago and found that the easiest way to solve the problem was through Tech Support. If the first call doesn't resolve the problem as it should, make sure to ask for a Tier 2 support next time.
