Why Does At&t Keep Over Charging Me?

I have only had service with at&t for 2 months and the first month they charged me for things that the sales lady never told me about and know they are charging me for games, ring-tones, and other things that I have no idea what they are. The phone keeps dropping calls and half of the time I have no service at all.
