I Have A Samsung Sgh-a817 & Why Does It Say Invalid Sim

Hello,
The SIM might have not been activated correctly! SIM cards is a way that the ATT controls will work on your phone. Many phone carriers have started the SIM card system to control clients bills and stuff to make sure they are getting correct reads.
However you need to call the Customer Support line at the following number. 1-800-331-0500 or 611
