Unlock My Iphone 4s

I will be moving to Finland for a year in January 2014. Will I be able to get my Iphone 4s unlocked and would I then be able to keep my current phone and use it on a Finnish plan?

That all depends on the carrier. If the carrier in Finland uses SIM cards then yes. If not, your phone will not be usable over there.
